Welcome to Carrum Sailing Club!
Carrum Sailing Club is a great place to sail, located on the sandy beaches of south east Port Phillip Bay, just south of the Patterson River. We sail trailerable yachts, off the beach dinghies and catamarans on most Sundays. People of all ages and experience are welcome. Enjoy first class facilities for all family members in our club house facing the beach, adjacent to the Carrum Lifesaving Club.
You don't have to sail to be a member at our club, we also have social membership available!

Think sailing is slow? No way!
The world sailing speed record has been smashed by the Vestas Sail Rocket! Paul Larsen has smashed the world sailing speed record with speeds over 60 knots (110 Kph)! Our congratulations go to Paul and his team for this astonishing feat.
Did you know that a foiling Moth can get up to 30 knots (55 kph)?

Watch the footy/cricket/fishing on the big screen
All members are welcome to attend for this great night.
On some nights when there is no football there will be a $10 cover charge for a performance of the house band "Men Overboard"
It might be cold outside but its cookin in the house by the sea!
Social membership
A membership category that of Social member has been introduced to the club.
This category of membership will entitle those taking up this option to use the club facilities when the club is open but not skipper or crew on a boat.
The fee has been set at $50

Cambur Motors Challenge
The format is the same as the last season. The windward/leeward race was held on November 6th, 2011. The race is open to all trailerable (including sports trailerable) and Off the beach boats. $500 prizemoney to 1st and $100 to 2nd on CBH/yardstick.
