Kon Spanos has objected the the Council granting a planning permit for the redevelopment. This objection was expected as Mr Spanos has objected to all developments in the street, of course with the exception of his own.
The proposal therefore now goes to VCAT and it may well not be heard until March 2010.
The club has engaged Associated Town Planning P/L to act on our behalf and to address concerns that we have with the conditions of the permit granted.
In the meantime the club has been approached by some restauranteurs' wishing to discuss terms to lease the premises
